Membership/Fees

RACE aquatics is a USA swim team based in Ky Swimming.  This means that members must be registered members of USA swimming.  Membership is USA swimming is easy.

USA Swimming Members enjoy a multitude of benefits. From our extensive Times database, to top tips and training advice, to the opportunity to enter the nation’s most prestigious events, USA Swimming membership is a must for any competitive swimmer or coach.

members receive:

• Six issues of USA Swimming’s award-winning Splash Magazine
• Opportunity to qualify for and compete in USA Swimming sanctioned meets- Zones to Olympic Trials!
• Eligibility to participate in local and national swimming camps.
• Ability to track your times and improvement through our extensive times database
• Excess accident and liability insurance
• Motivational programs such as Age Group Top 10, Scholastic All-America and more

Forms you will need to fill out include:

1. RACE registration form
2. USA swimming registration form (in a PDF file) (here it is as a word doc )
3. RACE code of conduct (this is a word document)
4. Medical release form (another word document)
5. If you are transferring to this Swim club from another swim club you will need the athlete transfer form. (a pdf from KY swimming)
6. Stay Current on Monthly Dues.  Membership fees are used to pay for pool time, coaches salary, coaches development licensing requirements and team maintenance expenses.

USA and KY swimming dues currently total $70 annually (for the rest of 2011 and 2012).    Checks for those dues should be made out to KY Swimming.
